Out door ac unit
Out door is a sealed unit.This houses important components of the air conditioner like compressor, condenser coil and also the filter or drier, expansion valve or Capillary tubing.In the out door unit there is a fan that blows air over the condenser thus cooling the compressed vapour refrigerant gas in it to convert liquid refrigerant or gas.
The liquid refrigerant gas passes through the filter or drier to be filtering or moisture absorbing.The liquid refrigerant passes through the expansion valve and gets converted into low pressure, low temperature liquid refrigerant gas then flows through the indoor unit or cooling coil.
Installation of the out door ac unit
1. It is installed out side the room to be air conditioned on its out side wall, roof or ground floor in the open air.
2. It should be installed on such a place where it can find sufficient open air from all of its surroundings.
3. It is better to install under a roof where it can be saved from the direct rays of sun and showers of rain.
4. It should be installed in the minimum distance from the room to be air conditioned to minimize the use of pipe lines and quantity of refrigerant.
5. It should be installed in the minimum distance from the wall to be air flows properly and it can installed in the maximum distance to be front wall of the outdoor unit for properly Condensed or heat rejected of the compressed vapour refrigerant gas.

. Compressor - sealed type of compressor in inverter or non inverter ( rotary, scroll and maybe reciprocating) it material used in cast iron.
