Evaporator is that part of mechanical refrigeration system or Vapour compression refrigeration system.The Evaporator work on liquid to convert vapour refrigerant.There are two different types of the Evaporator Air cooling coil and Liquid cooling coil or chiller.

What is a Evaporator 

   Evaporator is that part of mechanical refrigeration system or Vapour compression refrigeration system. Which liquid refrigerant or gas Evaporates to be vaporized( inside of the tube) in an enclosed space by absorbing heat of warm materials or Substance placed around it. the Vaporized is a couses cooling. 



 How does a evaporator work

   The Basic working principle of the, Evaporator Receive liquid refrigerant or gas from the Expansion valve at low pressure and low temperature liquid refrigerant to Evaporate (by the absorb latent heat from enclosed space or room, by the help of air and liquid or brine) then liquid refrigerant is Evaporated to vaporized inside the Evaporator Convert vapour at to lower pressure and lower temperature vapour refrigerant through the suction line of Accumulator, the compressor. 


 Installed or fitted of the evaporator

   The Evaporator Installed of the, between Expansion valve and accumulator, compressor. the Expansion valve outlet pipe are connected to the Evaporator inlet pipe and The Evaporator outlet pipe are connected to the compressor inlet pipe in the mechanical refrigeration system or Vapour compression refrigeration system.

   Use Or application of the, Evaporator is both domestic and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning system, HVAC system.The Commercial, plants uses Evaporator is known as ‘‘chiller’’. 



 what is Domestic and domestically used equipments or system ? 

   Domestic is know as house hold like Refrigerators, bottle coolers,water cooler, deep freezes, window ac, split ac etc. The small and medium capacity of the tonnage are used is called a domestic. 


What is commercial and Commercially used to system? 

   commercial is know as large area(refrigerated space) or plant to be cooled like a commercial refrigeration system, truck or contener refrigeration system, ice cream plants, bus air conditioning, train air conditioning, commercial air conditioning system, central air conditioning plants, HVAC system, chilled water flows system etc. The medium and large capacity of the tonnage are used is called a commercial.

. Air cooling coil Or evaporator (Direct system)

 . Liquid cooling coil or chiller (Indirect system) 



What is Air cooling coil Or Evaporator (Direct system or direct expansion system)

   In air cooling coil Or Direct system of the evaporator is that cooling in the primary Refrigerant by the help of natural convection air (only natural air) and force convection air(uses in fan Or blower) directly in an refrigerated space is called. 

   The Air cooling coil Or air cooled evaporator Direct system is know as direct expansion system.The evaporator function are same of the air cooling coil or Evaporator direct system or direct cooling system.

   The Liquid cooling coil or indirect system is that in which an evaporator or chiller is used secondary refrigerant to cool of liquid or brine and this cool liquid or brine is further used to cool other substance like a refrigeration and air conditioning loads.

   In this system the evaporator is known as a ‘‘chiller’’.

   The liquid cooling coil Or chiller indirect system is known as indirect Expansion system.The evaporator or chiller function are same as The liquid cooling coil Or chiller indirect system.
